While everyone probably knows we met on Hinge, what most don't realize (including us, when we "first" met) was that our story started at The Red Lion in 2018.

Skyler's brother Dylan,was in Sam's fraternity and like every other member of the fraternity, Sam had no idea Dylan Hendricks had a younger sister. When we met, Skyler took this snapchat to send to her brother. Neither of us thought anything of this, and we went our own ways.

Flash forward to July, 2021, when we matched on Hinge and planned our first date. Skyler immediately told Dylan she'd matched with a boy from AEPi and asked him what to talk about. After realizing they'd already met, Skyler knew they were connected by what she and Taylor Swift like to call "An Invisible String."

From the second date on, we realized we were a perfect match for one another. Not only do we share many interests, like golden doodles, candy, and country music, we also balance each other out perfectly. In Skyler's words, "I am loud, brutally honest, and quite dramatic. You're calm, quiet, and....also quite dramatic."
